MADKID est un groupe japonais composé de deux rappeurs (LIN et YUKI) et de trois chanteurs (YOU-TA, SHIN et KAZUKI) qui s’est formé en 2014 et a fait ses débuts majeurs en 2018.

En 2019, le groupe a sorti son populaire single « RISE » pour la série d’animation « The Rising of the Shield Hero ». La chanson est rapidement devenue un succès mondial. Ils ont par la suite sorti leurs chansons « FAITH » et « Bring Back », qui ont également servi de génériques pour la deuxième saison de la série.

En janvier 2023, MADKID a sorti « PARANOID » comme chanson thème de la série animée Netflix « Junji Ito Maniac : Japanese Tales of the Macabre ». En octobre de la même année, ils ont sorti leur single « SIN », qui est devenu la chanson thème d’ouverture de la saison 3 de « The Rising of the Shield Hero ». En décembre de la même année, le single « FLY » de MADKID est choisi comme thème d’ouverture de la série animée « Sasaki and Peeps » (diffusée en janvier 2024). En avril 2024, le groupe a sorti le single « Futatsu no Kotoba », thème d’ouverture de la série animée « TADAIMA, OKAERI ».

Le mois suivant, MADKID a fait ses débuts au Canada, lors de la convention Anime North à Toronto. En octobre 2024, le groupe a sorti le single « Chaser », qui sert de thème d’ouverture de la série d’animation « Haigakura ».

En janvier et février 2025, le groupe a effectué sa première tournée nord-américaine en collaboration avec le chanteur NANO. La tournée s’est faite dans 11 villes à travers les États-Unis, le Canada et le Mexique. En octobre 2025, la chanson « Mad Pulse » de MADKID, a été choisie comme thème principal de la série d’animation « DIGIMON BEATBREAK ».

Avec leur rap époustouflant et leurs voix puissantes, ils ont tout pour offrir une performance unique en son genre.

In 2019, the group released their single “RISE” for the TV anime series “The Rising of the Shield Hero”. The song quickly became a hit all over the world. They were later able to release their songs “FAITH” and “Bring Back”, as openings for the second season of the series.

MADKID will be performing and appearing for the first time in Québec City, Canada at Nadeshicon 2026 (April 10 to 12, Québec City Convention Centre). This performance has been organized in Association with J-rock North Promotions Inc. and NIPPON COLUMBIA CO., LTD.
