Your favorite anime opening has you singing like a bird every time you hear it? You look up to japanese singers and hope to one day meet them as equals? Grab your mic, it’s time to shine!
 
Friendly singing contest, the Nadeshicon Idol will put your voice, your Japanese pronounciation, your knowledge of the lyrics, and, last but not least, your presence to the test through a live show. You may find the rules and evaluation criterias here, in French, here.
 
Rumor has it a certain mysterious challenger may enter the contest once again. Brace yourselves…

You can’t help but sing along your favorite anime opening? You admire the works of the numerous Japanese idol groups? Or maybe you are fascinated by visual kei and its bands? Nadeshicon Idol may very well be the perfect fit for you!
 
Friendly singing competition, Nadeshicon Idol will put your voice, your Japanese pronounciation, your memory of the lyrics, and, last but not least, your presence to the test through a live show. Get on stage and blow us away!

Nadeshicon Idol is back!

During last year’s convention, many of you shared with us your desire to participate in our Idol contest, so here’s your chance!

You sing? You like japanese music? Come perform in front of our judges! You might just be one of the few who will be granted the chance to perform on stage during the main show!

Auditions will be held on the saturday morning of the festival, with the finale in the evening of the same day, on the stage of the Hydro-Québec theater. If you wish to participate, be sure to read the rules!
