Nadeshicon is over… yeah, already! (since 4 days ago but we needed to regain our strength a little to thank you!!! 😜 )
Thank you to the guests, to the panelists, to the merchants, to the artisans, to the volunteers, to the staff, to the employees of the Convention Centre, to the organizing committee, but above all, thank YOU! We saw lots of smiles, lots of joy and fun! There were several of you (although we don’t have the official count yet, we can safely say that you were more than 20!😆 )
Now, the time has come to collect your comments, suggestions and interests on the 2023 edition to be able to offer you even better in 2024!

Come dance with the band TurboQuest!
TurboQuest is a rock band with metal influences that takes the classics of the video game world while bringing a whole new dimension.
The five musicians share the same two passions, those of music and, of course, video games. Each having a very fulfilled musical background, each musician brings a unique touch and a distinct sound, both in writing and in interpretation.
Sometimes heavy, sometimes melodic, TurboQuest will transport you from one universe to another and make the gamer in you vibrate with nostalgia.

Martin Savard is a Rakugo enthusiast.
What is Rakugo?
Rakugo is a form of traditional Japanese comedy. It is characterized by a narrator (the Rakugoka) who tells a humorous story using only a fan and a small cushion as props, seated on a tatami in front of an audience seated in a circle.
The story told by the Rakugoka is often a short story, based on a main character who finds himself in an absurd or comical situation. Stories usually have an unexpected ending that makes the audience laugh.
Although Rakugo is traditionally told in Japanese, it has also been adapted into other languages, including English and French. It is moreover a wish of Martin Savard to interpret the tales and legends of Quebec in the Japanese way.

Marie-Claude Bourbonnais is a cosplayer passionate about Japanese art, fashion and popular culture. Patternmaker and professional seamstress specializing in costume making, she participated in her first convention in 2010. Since then, she has participated in dozens of conventions in Canada, the United States and Mexico and has also been invited to conventions in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Romania, Belgium and Italy.
She crafts her costumes using all kinds of materials, from textiles to leather, resin to fiberglass and so much more!

Come and meet the Espace Japon Shodo Club during a workshop on Japanese calligraphy.
Japanese calligraphy is often used to write poems, maxims and proverbs, as well as names and titles for works of art. The characters are traced using brushes and ink on paper or fabric.
You will learn more about this artistic writing while the Shodo Club will share its knowledge on the different techniques and tools used to allow you to create your own works!
